The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) South West Region is proud to announce the official launch of its new regional website: https://southwestregion.metisnation.org
The website was officially unveiled during the May the Fourth–themed Koffee with Kathleen virtual sessions, where citizens gathered online to connect, ask questions about anything on their mind, and explore this new communication tool together. Attendees were invited to tour the site, learn about its features, and visit both regional and council-specific pages.
The new website was developed through the direction and support of the South West Regional Leadership Team, with the goal of strengthening communication, improving access to information, and creating a central space to highlight the work happening across the region.
“This website reflects a shared vision from our Regional Leadership Team to strengthen how we connect with citizens across the South West Region,” said PCMNO Regional Councilor Kathleen Anderson. “It provides a space where our communities can share updates, celebrate achievements, and ensure citizens have access to timely and relevant information. Most importantly, it supports each council’s voice and priorities, while bringing us together as a region.”
The website includes dedicated pages for each of the South West Region’s councils, along with regional updates, news, and resources. It is designed to grow and evolve over time, with ongoing updates reflecting the work, events, and priorities identified by councils and regional representatives.
Citizens are encouraged to explore the website, stay informed, and check back regularly for updates as new content is added.
