Come on out and connect with the Niagara Region Métis Community! Learn more about the Métis Way of Life and Métis traditions. Set up your own family campsite, and spend the day immersed in Métis culture! Families will move and learn together through hands-on activities, and finish the evening with a shared meal and community campfire. Click here to watch a video of a past camp. You can also view photos here. Some camp supplies and food are provided at no cost to families. This camp is funded through MNO’s Early Learning and Child Care Program.
This year we will again be able to include our older youth! Supplies and programming for older youth (13-17) is provided through the Indigenous Reconciliation Fund by a grant with the Catholic Diocese of St. Catharines. Thank you!
More details will follow by email to the families that register.
Camp Location: Balls Falls Conservation Property
