On Monday, March 9, 2025, Métis youth from our Niagara Region Youth Group put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test at Adventure Rooms Canada in Niagara Falls. The boys from Fort William challenged the girls from Fort Albany in an exciting escape room experience, tackling The Collector in a friendly competition.
During the activity, youth worked together to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and think strategically under pressure. After the first round, the group enjoyed a short break during the 15-minute game reset, where they played board games and spent time talking and connecting before heading back to complete the duel-style challenge.
Congratulations to Fort Albany, who claimed victory over Fort William!
Beyond the competition, the experience helped youth strengthen important skills such as teamwork and communication, leadership and collaboration, critical thinking and strategy, and confidence and trust within the Métis Youth Group. It was a great evening of laughter, connection, and shared challenges.
