You are cordially invited to attend our National day of Truth and Reconciliation event on Wednesday September 30th at Maple Meadows Farm in Port Colborne. This event is to honour the residential school survivors and remember the children who never came home.
If anyone has a personal story to share, we would love for you to speak at this event. Please respond to this email if so.
We encourage citizens to wear their orange shirts in support of the annual movement inspired by Phyllis Webstad, whose new orange shirt was taken away on her first day at an Indian residential school. There will be a number of orange shirts given to those who attend this event.
We look forward to gathering with you.
