Niagara Region has begun developing a Sustainable Procurement Program. This is part of the Region’s commitment to reconciliation and their Indigenous Truth and ReconciliAction Plan.
A key aspect of the Program will be to purchase more goods and services from Indigenous-owned businesses.
The Region is working with Reeve Consulting to host a 90-minute virtual roundtable to hear directly from Indigenous business owners about their experiences, barriers, and opportunities for supplying goods and services to the Region.
The session will be held virtually on Thursday Aug. 27th at 1pm – 2:30pm. Space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served.
