We’re looking for volunteers to support the South West Region’s Powley Day Regional Rendezvous 2026
This is a family-friendly day of culture, community, and connection—and we’re looking for a few key roles to help bring it all together:
- Stage & Sound Technician
Support performers and speakers by managing sound equipment and helping things run smoothly on stage.
- Parking & Traffic Lead
Help guide guests as they arrive, support accessibility needs, and keep parking safe and organized.
- Volunteer Coordinator
Support and guide our volunteer team throughout the day to ensure everyone feels confident, engaged, and supported.
- Event Photographer
Capture the spirit of the day through photos—candid moments, performances, and community connection.
Location: Guelph Lake Conservation – Island Stage
Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
All roles are volunteer-based. Lunch will be provided, and hours can be validated.
Please click on the above positions to learn more about each role. If you’re interested, please send us an email to SouthWestR@metisnation.org with a bit about your experience and the role you’re interested in.
Want to help, but not sure where you fit?
No problem—we’ve created a general volunteer sign-up form so you can let us know you’re interested. Whether you have a specific role in mind or are open to helping where needed, we’ll work with you to find a good fit.
👉 Complete the Volunteer Sign-Up Form
We’d love to have you be part of this special day.
